beauty products
Recently, a product that I have been absolutely obsessed with is the Tula Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm. This product is incredible. If you are not getting enough sleep at night (aka basically all of us), this product needs to be in your bathroom. Not only does it cover those god-awful dark circles, but this balm feels like sunshine on your skin. I am not sure how this product does it, but it literally makes you feel more awake once applied.
This Tula Glow & Get It Cooling Balm is suited for oily, combo or dry skin. When applied, instead of just sitting on your face it actually hydrates and basically just uplifts your entire face. I can’t rave about this product enough and will definitely be re-purchase from me.
I have found my new hair must have, and it is the Living Proof Full Dry Volume & Texture Spray. Recently, I haven’t been as much of a hermit as I usually am, so this means I have actually been doing my hair. My normal go to is spray a shit ton of dry shampoo, brush, and throw up in a bun and call it good. Since I have actually been living a little, I needed some new hair products. I do love dry shampoo because it gives that extra boost my dead hair needs, but I hate the white residue it leaves. If my hair is recently washed and not oily, I would rather not use it. But what if we want some volume?
That is exactly why you need this Living Proof product. To me, it is like dry shampoo but on steroids. It uplifts your roots SO much better, smells one hundred times better, and no disgusting white stuff all over your scalp. It is quite literally the most amazing product ever. I also love it because it comes in a travel size so I can just throw it in my purse and use it when I’m out!
Okay so I received this Perfect Eau de Parfum by Marc Jacobs in either a Sephora or Ulta gift with purchase and you GUYS. If you have been on the search for a new perfume, end your search now. Let me *attempt* to explain the scent. The base note is cashmeran with the middle note being almond milk, and the top note being rhubarb and daffodil. I cannot even explain enough how amazing this scent is. I mainly love it because it works as a day scent and night scent. Most perfumes are one or the other. Which is totally fine; however, for the price you pay- it would be nice to be able to wear it whenever. If you are looking for a scent that truly can just be your go to girl for any occasion or season, you have found her.
clothing
One of my new favorite brands to now shop at is Abercrombie & Fitch. In high school I would literally drool over the girls that wore their brand. After high school, I totally forgot about them and recently was re-introduced to them over the last few months. You can honestly find absolutely anything you need or want at their store. From basics, to work clothes and even gym essentials they seriously have it ALL. I am not sure if I was just a true broke bitch in school or if their prices have dropped, but they are actually super affordable. Because their products are so inexpensive, I thought maybe quality would suffer but I was totally wrong. The touch and feel of their fabric is so, so smooth. Their gym clothes are totally squat proof and supportive.
Below, I will have links and pictures of recent pieces I have boughten and loved!

house products
So, it is cold as f*ck here, so I needed to switch up my interior game. First on my list was I NEEDED to get a couple different humidifiers for our dry house. One for Owen’s bedroom and the other for our living room. Linked below are the ones I got, both off of Amazon. They both seem to work well and are super easy to clean and fill with water!
In addition to my new humidifiers, I also bought the cutest essential oils diffuser! I have recently learned how horrible candles and plugins are for one- so I am attempting to use more essential oils (sorry, but I will always love my candles).
To add some coziness into my space, I have recently been buying a lot of light-colored throw blankets. My personal favorite is this one from UGG.
meditations
Meditating is something I have really gotten into the last couple of years. Because I am not really that advanced and need some direction, I use the Insight Timer app. It is free, simple to use, and they have such a variety of meditations- for truly whatever mood you are in.
The amazing thing about meditation is that you can always make time for it, because it can be practiced at any time of the day (& anywhere). My go to lately is turning on a meditation before bed. It really helps me fall asleep. The amazing thing is even if you do fall asleep, your mind is actually still taking in the meditation while you sleep- even though you aren’t consciously aware of it. My favorites as of lately are:
- Deep Healing by davidji
- Yoga Nidra For Sleep & Rest by The StillPoint
- Sleep Meditation: Awaken to a Clean Slate by Bethany Auriel-Hagan
- The Dream For Sleep by Bethany Auriel-Hagan
books
I really haven’t had much time to read lately, which I hate because reading is one of my favorite things to do before bed. One big that I could NOT sit down and surprisingly finished pretty quickly was Raising Good Humans by Hunter Clarke-Fields. You know a book is 10/10 when you are a parent and actually MAKE time for it. To summarize, this book discusses on how to be a less reactive parent and how to raise confident, happy children. This book is incredibly eye opening. If you are looking for a new book or are looking for some direction within your relationship with your child- definitely grab this book.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope this post was able to give you a little inspiration for gift ideas this holiday season! xxx
